About Toth

Maria is an active and certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) in addition to several Special Interest Divisions. She completed her education at the University of Florida, cum laude, specializing in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. She then earned a Master of Science degree in the field and immediately put her skills to use in the clinical setting at St. Mary’s Medical Center Outpatient Facility.

Maria has dedicated her career to helping individuals reach their full potential through personalized and effective Speech Therapy services. She has a wealth of experience and expertise in a wide range of areas, including feeding/swallowing, myofunctional disorders, receptive and expressive language, developmental delay, pragmatic (social communication), tongue thrust, phonological skills, and motor speech. Her experience in the clinical setting, combined with her education and certifications, make her highly qualified to provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized plans of care for clients of all ages.

Maria’s plan with Toth Speech Services, LLC was to design a team of professionals working together to help individuals reach their full potential within their natural environment. Throughout her work experience, she observed the most progress when the therapy was designed functionally in the environment where the individual is the most comfortable (home, school, community). Maria is an Autism Spectrum Disorder specialist and is highly qualified and certified in PROMPT therapy as well as traditional therapy techniques. She is dedicated to making sure that each individual receives the personalized care they need to achieve their full potential.
